New information about the not yet introduced Ultra model of the Xiaomi 12 family continues to come. The smartphone, which was displayed with the signature of the German lens manufacturer Leica last week and then rendered images, has now appeared in the 3C database.
What will Xiaomi 12 Ultra offer users?
Xiaomi 12 Ultra appeared on the 3C certification site with model number 2203121C. Accordingly, the smartphone will come with a charging adapter codenamed MDY-12-EF, which supports fast charging up to 67W. This means that the device will not have serious innovations in wired charging compared to its predecessor. As it will be remembered, Xiaomi 11 Ultra; It supported 67W fast charging, 67W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
Other than that, there are no details about the Xiaomi 12 Ultra’s wireless charging capabilities. But judging by the previous leaks, there will be no critical improvements here either. It is also equipped with a 4,900 mAh battery.
The device will feature a 6.6-inch curved E5 AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution offering 120Hz refresh rate. At the same time, the fingerprint reader will be located under the screen.
On the processor side, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 appears. The chipset promises 10 percent faster CPU and GPU compared to its predecessor. On the other hand, it is 15 percent more efficient in terms of power. It offers 20 percent better AI performance per watt, and let’s mention that it went through TSMC’s 4 nm fabrication process. It will also be available with 8/12/16 GB RAM and 256/512 GB storage.
After the agreement between Xiaomi and Leica, the camera features of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra have also become clear. The model will feature a triple camera setup consisting of a 50 Megapixel 24mm main, 48 Megapixel 120mm periscope and 48 Megapixel 12mm ultra wide angle sensor.
