With iOS 16, you will be able to get rid of duplicate contacts easily
The new version of iOS brings many innovations. One of these innovations helps you correct contacts. With iOS 16, the system will automatically detect and notify you if there are duplicate contacts in your contacts. If duplicate contacts are found, the application will allow you to fix it with a single click, and a single contact will be created by combining two data in the directory.
Big improvement in Face ID
Before iOS 16, the system could not detect duplicate contacts automatically. The auto-detection of duplicate contacts was also available on macOS and will eventually make its way to iPhone with iOS 16. iOS 16 will be available in the fall with the introduction of the iPhone 14 series.
