iPadOS 16 update was especially appreciated with its innovations that approached the laptop experience more. Among them, the Stage Manager multitasking manager stood out for its functional interface and smoother interaction with external displays, but there is one condition.
iPadOS 16 does not appeal to everyone
A new detail about iPadOS 16 will upset users. Stage Manager functional task manager is only available for models using the Apple M1 processor. In other words, the latest iPad Pro and iPad Air 5 models can use Stage Manager. Apple A-based iPad models will use the standard task manager.
What is StageManager?
Stage Manager sorts the applications to the left and brings up the active windows. While the size of the task windows on the screen can be adjusted, drag-and-drop operations can be performed between the windows. The feature can be activated via the Control Center and automatically sorts.
Stage Manager, including Mission Control and Spaces applications, works in harmony with other macOS windowing tools, and users can easily access their desktops with one click.
