Indonesia-based crypto asset trading platform Pintu has received an investment of $113 million from high-profile names such as Pantera Capital, Lightspeed India Partners.

Indonesia-based crypto platform Pintu has received a $113 million investment in its Series B funding round. The investor leading the round, which included names such as Pantera Capital, Lightspeed India Partners, Intudo Ventures and Northstar Group, declined to be named and preferred to remain anonymous. Jeth Soetoyo, founder and CEO of Pintu, told The Block that it is a global venture capital firm.

The investment in question came amid the negative atmosphere that dominates the cryptocurrency market. CEO Soetoyo said that it is now more difficult to raise funds, especially for new ideas and startups.

The company will use this fund to consolidate its position in the country.
