The Central African Republic announced its plan to tokenize the country’s natural resources.

The Central African Republic, which legally accepted Bitcoin in the past weeks, now wants to tokenize the country’s natural resources. According to a statement released on Thursday, the government will offer access to mining resources to your token for crypto and digital asset projects in the country. This move will be carried out within the scope of the previously announced Project Sango.

The Central African Republic has deposits of oil, diamonds, copper, rhodium, gold, limestone, cobalt and manganese. The country’s president, Faustin Archange Touadera, said in a statement on the subject that the tokenization of these assets represents a way to create new investment opportunities in the country.
