When I went to the Tesla service, it turned out that the drive unit was water damaged and needed to be replaced. ” he said.
Stating that the authorized service refused to repair the vehicle under warranty free of charge, Howei stated that the technician told that it is possible to enter the drive system of the vehicle in rainy weather.
Claiming that the 8-year drive unit warranty was ignored, Howei said, “I had a discussion with the tech and service center manager, who refused to honor the warranty and even suggested that I tell my insurance company that the car was flooded. ” said.
