The Ultra model of the Xiaomi 12 series, which has not yet been showcased, has not fallen off the agenda with leaks and claims so far. In addition to its technical features, there has been a new development regarding the device, whose design and release date are largely evident. The smartphone was displayed with the Leica logo.

Huawei’s blacklisting by the US in 2019 prompted the company’s strategic partner, Leica, to seek a new partner. While the lens manufacturer announced that it signed an agreement with Xiaomi last week, it gave the good news that a new flagship will be introduced in July within the framework of this partnership.
If we consider the information that has emerged so far, the relevant model will be the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. In fact, the device was displayed with the Leica logo for the first time, apart from the leaked concept images. Digital Chat Station shared the image of the phone’s camera setup. So the image largely matches the previous concept images.
We previously stated that the model will come with black leather coating and ceramic colors. In addition, the camera features of the smartphone have also been revealed. Accordingly, the device will have a triple camera setup consisting of 50 Megapixel 24mm main, 48 Megapixel 120mm periscope and 48 Megapixel 12mm ultra wide angle sensors.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 appears on the smartphone. The processor promises 10 percent faster CPU and GPU compared to its predecessor. It’s also 15 percent more power efficient. The processor, which offers 20 percent better AI performance per watt, has a 4 nm architecture.
