New footage has been released showing the moments when a US Army Apache attack helicopter encountered three unidentified weather events (UAP) near the Mexican border.
Video, originally published by The Debrief, was filmed on November 6, 2018, as it approached midnight during a training flight about 64 kilometers northwest of Tucson, Arizona. Captured with special military night vision sensors, the three tiny dots can be seen moving rapidly and chaotically through the air.
In the video, the copilot of the Apache helicopter says, “Wow! The three fast moving things over there are jets?” Apache’s pilot says, “Probably. Probably some A10s or some F-16s, but I’m not looking there,” he replies.
The video was part of a larger article explaining that US Customs and Border Patrol agents frequently detected UAPs at the southern border but lacked the means to report encounters to their superiors.
Speaking to The Debrief, former US Air Force fighter pilot Chris Lehto said that the movement of the three objects did not make sense and was unlike anything he had seen in his career as a military pilot. “The tracking rate is extremely high,” Lehto said, and continued: “Even if they’re only a mile away, I calculate that they went about 1.28M. They’re past the speed of sound.”
Naturally, not everyone thinks the images are of UFOs, and some commentators think that the objects are actually just birds or bats. They believe that the objects are actually much closer to the camera and not even close to the speed of sound.
Metabunk manager Mick West wrote in a tweet, “Unfortunately, a very exaggerated new UFO video looks like three birds doing things like birds. You don’t even need analysis here. Just look at the original video. It just looks like birds,” she says.
Beyond this video, reports of UAPs are being taken more seriously than in previous years. Earlier this month, the US government held the first public congressional hearing on UFOs since 1966, and the US Department of Defense (DoD) is known to have collected at least 400 views, including 11 crashes recently.
