Competition in the smartphone market continues at full speed. Manufacturers are launching new models day by day in order to get a bigger share of the pie. At the same time, platforms such as AnTuTu, which test and compare devices under certain standards, come up with new lists every month. Finally, AnTuTu shared the list of the fastest Android phones in May.
May’s fastest Android phones list
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 marked AnTuTu’s fastest Android phones list of May. The chipset, which has been superior to its rival MediaTek Dimensity 9000 for a while; this month, it managed to appear in 8 of the 10 models on the list. Also, after a while, we will start to see the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in the lists.
According to AnTuTu, the fastest Android phone of April was the Black Shark 5 Pro powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The model, which scored 1 million 48 thousand 179 points in total, was followed by the Red Magic 7 Pro with 1 million 32 thousand 445 points.
Third place is Lenovo Legion Y90 with 1 million 20 thousand 942 points. Following the phone, which comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 as in the first three models, comes the vivo X80 with 1 million 13 thousand 845 points powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000.
Note: The list is based on models in the Chinese market only. The list, which includes global markets, will be announced very soon.
