Known for his support of Dogecoin, Musk stated that the DOGE code of the Dogecoin founder was more He says he copied most of it from other altcoin projects. In response, Billy Markus left the following message, explaining that he only wrote 20 lines of code:

People after us have done exponentially more on code basis than Jackson or I did. I think I wrote 20 lines of code and copied the rest.

The bickering continues

Meanwhile, Musk and Palmer have exchanged opinions over the past 24 hours about who has better coding skills than the other. The problem first started after Palmer had an interview with Crikey. During the interview, the Dogecoin co-founder described Musk as a “scammer” because he lacked the ability to understand the underlying code.

According to Palmer, he shared with Musk a few years ago a Twitter script aimed at getting rid of cryptocurrency bot accounts, which have become a hot topic of discussion in the crypto market. Musk has also frowned upon the increasing spam activity on Twitter, as he announced that he would wage war against these bots and the actors behind them when he finally took over Twitter.

Responding to Palmer’s harsh comments, Musk noted that Palmer did not have basic coding skills. Musk added that his children wrote better codes when he was much younger than the “bullshit” that the Dogecoin founder sent him. If the Tesla CEO was truly convinced that he had good coding skills, he challenged the Dogecoin penny to share the script with the public.

Palmer accepted the challenge and decided to fight Twitter’s bot activities. shared the GitHub link of the code he wrote in 2018. While Palmer doesn’t seem to be in Musk’s books, his partner, Marcus, had a friendly relationship with the billionaire, as seen multiple times on Twitter.

As we reported on Kriptokoin.com, Elon Musk recently announced that SpaceX will soon be able to accept payments with Dogecoin. This news increased the DOGE price by 15%.
