Samsung, which has been on the rise in the processor world in recent years, wants to expand its position in the market with its new products. Announcing that it will produce special processors for its smartphones, the company has been working on a 3 nm processor for a long time.

Samsung Exynos 2300 will come with the Galaxy S23 series

Information about the 3nm processor, which was also exhibited during the visit of US President Joe Biden to South Korea, continues to come. The processor, called Exynos 2300, will go through Samsung’s 3nm GAA production process.

The energy efficiency of the Exynos 2300, which will be the first 3nm processor in the Android world, is expected to be better than the Exynos 2200. The company will use this processor in its flagship phones next year. In a sense, the Samsung S23 series will be launched with the 3nm Exynos 2300.

Samsung, as it is known, uses two different processors in its flagship smartphones, which vary by region. According to the information received, the Samsung S23 series will use both Exynos 2300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors next year.

Although the Exynos 2300 sees a 35 percent reduction in size compared to 5nm chips, it is stated that it will offer 30 percent higher performance. In addition, low power consumption of up to 50 percent is expected. On the other hand, Samsung stated that they have also started initiatives for 2nm chips. This chipset is expected to start production around 2025.
