Both the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 are expected to be unveiled in August, and now a leak from a trusted source points to a design change for the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Regularly posting leaks, Ice Universe has released some shots of a case allegedly designed with the Galaxy Z Fold 4 in mind. These images appear to be slightly wider when the case is closed, which can be said to be a very significant difference when compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 version.
One of the users’ complaints about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 was that the external display that was seen when the phone was closed was too long and narrow; so it looks like the new model might try to fix this complaint.
However, there is no information about the actual screen dimensions in this leak, and we can easily say that there is not even much detail. It’s not the most solid leak about Samsung’s upcoming foldable phone, as the leak only comes from a tweet text and an image.
Still, we can understand that Samsung has accepted the criticisms of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and is ready to address as many criticisms as possible with the Galaxy Z Fold 4. For example, in a previous leak, it was heard that the new model will have a less noticeable crease in the middle of the screen.
It is also said that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor. Considering that even foldable phones sometimes need to be pocketed, this will certainly be a welcome change.
