At the annual Google I/O Developer Conference, Google showed off the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro for the first time. Both devices are quite similar to the Pixel 6 series, but the camera chamber has an aluminum frame this time. Although Google did not give serious information about the device, it announced that it will come with a new generation Tensor processor this fall.

Google The screen of the Pixel 7 series may not meet expectations
The Google Pixel 7 will come in Obsidian, Snow and Lemongrass colors, and the Pixel 7 Pro will come in Obsidian, Snow and Green Sound colors. Pixel 7 is expected to have 1080×2400 resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate, and Pixel 7 Pro’s screen is expected to have 1440×3120 resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.
However, Google is speculating that the display panel of the Pixel 7 Pro may result in an improved version of the Pixel 6 Pro. Since the resolution and refresh rate have already remained the same, it is estimated that improvements will be made in issues such as brightness and power consumption. The Pixel 7 will be slightly smaller than the Pixel 6 and therefore the display panel will be 1mm narrower and 2mm shorter. On the other hand, the Pixel 7 Pro’s size is expected to be the same as that of the Pixel 6 Pro.
