Google has yet to reveal the technical specifications of the Pixel 7 series. It didn’t go beyond sharing a few photos revealing its back and front design. Google Pixel 7 series uses the same screen as Pixel 6
Pixel 6 included significant screen improvements compared to the previous models of the series. But it turns out that a similar improvement will not be made between the Pixel 7 and 6. According to the news of 9to5Google, the new flagship includes the same screen features as its predecessor.
Accordingly, Pixel 7 model will be launched with a 2400×1080 resolution OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 7 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a 1440×3120 resolution OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, just like the Pixel 6 Pro. Also, both models use panels made by Samsung.
The most important and only difference is expected to be size. Although the Pixel 7 Pro remains the same in size compared to the previous model; The Pixel 7’s screen will be 1mm narrower and 2mm shorter than the 6’s. Leaks about the new flagship are not limited to these.
Special 1080P mode for Pixel 7 Pro
According to the emerging information, “1080P Mode” is being developed for Pixel 7 Pro as a part of low power mode in order to reduce battery usage. This feature will allow the screen to work at maximum Full HD resolution.
