PS5 and PS VR2 games to come with State of Play
Sony announced that it has chosen Friday, June 3 for State of Play. He said he would announce “30-minute announcements and new features for the PlayStation world” as part of State of Play. The Japanese technology giant also surpassed its rival Xbox with this move. Microsoft will hold its Xbox and Bethesda event on June 12.
In the latest blog post by Sony, some details have emerged in addition to the event date. Expecting great games from its collaborations with third-party studios, Sony said that it will also interestingly give some surprises for PS VR2.
The highlights of the event will undoubtedly be the new PlayStation 5 games. God of War Ragnarok, which is expected to be released in 2022, and Final Fantasy 16, which Naoki Yoshida promised to release this year, seems to be the crown of the event.
According to Sony’s announcement, there will be a “quick look” at multiple games in development for the PlayStation VR2. This may mean that new games developed for VR glasses will be shared, but their details will be kept secret.
“We’ll take a look at a few games in development for PlayStation VR2, along with some exciting announcements from our third-party partners.”

In addition to these huge productions, some notable games from third-party studios will come. Action-adventure game Little Devil Inside and Stray set in a cyberpunk style world stand out as other highly anticipated games.
