The first information came about the Exynos 2300, which is the sequel to the Exynos 2200 introduced in January.
According to SamMobile’s report, Samsung has started developing a new Exynos processor for its flagship phones. The codename (S5E9935) of the high-end processor expected to be released next year is very similar to the codename (S5E25) of Exynos 2200 used in the Galaxy S22. This shows that it will carry the name Exynos 2300.
Will Exynos 2300 come with Galaxy S23 series?
Exynos 2200, which has an 8-core structure, incorporates the Xclipse GPU supported by AMD’s RDNA 2 graphics architecture. According to the leaked information, the Exynos 2300 will also have a more advanced version of Xclipse in terms of efficiency and performance.
Exynos 2200 goes through the 4nm production process with EUV (Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography) technique; It is also among the information that the Exynos 2300 will be produced with a 3nm fabrication process and will be used in the Galaxy S23 series.
Exynos processor for mid-range devices is also on the way
Along with Exynos 2300, Samsung is developing another processor known as S5E8535. There is no information about this processor. However, considering that the Exynos 1280, which powers the Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53 models, has the model number S5E8825, we can say that the new processor appeals to mid-segment devices.
In the past days, it was claimed that the Galaxy S23 and S24 series will use a completely Snapdragon processor instead of Exynos. Now, it is said that the S23 series will come out with the Exynos 2300. At this point, Samsung will make the final decision.
