Bad news for Pixel fans: the foldable Pixel has been delayed

With the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Flip series, Samsung is leading the foldable phone market, although many companies are preparing to enter this market. Google, which is expected to enter the market the most outside of Apple, has been working on the foldable Pixel for a long time. The device, called Pixel Notepad, has apparently been delayed to 2023.

Pixel Notepad will not arrive in 2022

Pixel Notepad, which has been claimed since 2021, has been delayed according to The Elec’s new report. The device, which is expected to be introduced in the last quarter of 2022, has been removed from Google’s calendar. Google introduced many of its devices, including the Pixel 7 and Pixel tablet, at the beginning of May. The lack of information about the foldable Pixel was a harbinger of the inevitable delay of the device.

Pixel Notepad is expected to be a similar device to Oppo Find N. The foldable Pixel, which will have a 5.78-inch outer screen and 7.57 inner screen, will use Google’s Tensor chip. However, due to its delay, it may use the next generation Tensor chips. In addition, 9to5Google stated that the foldable Pixel will come with a camera system very similar to the Pixel 6a model. Pixel Notepad will most likely be introduced before the end of 2023.
