We have previously announced to you that Leica, whose roots date back to 1869 and which has had its signature on the camera of Huawei phones for years, has decided to work with Xiaomi in the next period. The first fruit of this partnership has emerged: Xiaomi 12S was displayed with the signature of Leica on the camera part.
Two models were seen in the IMEI database last month: one is the standard Xiaomi 12S and the other is the Xiaomi 12S Pro with the Pro suffix. Considering that the leaked device is the standard model, we can say that the Pro model will also include a camera developed as a result of collaboration with Leica.
Leica detail on the Xiaomi 12S camera
With model number 2206123SC, Xiaomi 12S will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the most powerful processor that can be found in an Android phone. This processor is equipped with Cortex-X2 clocked at 3.19 GHz, three Cortex-A710 clocked at 2.75 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores clocked at 1.80 GHz.
Although the phone, which will be introduced in July, has almost the same design as the Xiaomi 12 that is already on the market, other features it will offer are currently unknown.
