Software giant Microsoft made a few interesting announcements about Windows 11 during its Build 2022 developer conference. The company has announced that it will offer third-party widget support for the next-generation operating system by the end of 2022.

Widget support in Windows 11 is currently limited to Microsoft products. There are a total of 11 widgets located in a special panel on the desktop. In the future, users will have the opportunity to place these widgets wherever they want on the desktop.
Panos Panay announced
Microsoft Product Director Panos Panay said that developers will be able to offer their own widgets to Windows 11 users in this. Third-party wiget support, which has been paved for Win32 and PWA applications, is expected to bring diversity to the panel.
