Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse touched on cryptocurrency regulations in a recent interview.
In a recent interview with Fox Business, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said the entire industry needs to be more transparent when asked about Tether. Garlinghouse used the following statements:
“From earlier days, we have tried to lead by example as Ripple and the XRP community. We really tried to be adults in the crypto space.”

When asked about the ongoing cryptocurrency market correction, Garlinghouse said that Bitcoin is still trading significantly higher than it was two years ago. The Ripple boss added that the excitement “gets ahead of the truth” in the market.
He also claimed that stablecoins are the main catalyst behind the recent market crash. Terra’s collapse once again highlighted the need for crypto regulation. In the most recent interview, Garlinghouse said that countries like the UK, Switzerland, and Singapore have already established a regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies.
