6nm MediaTek Helio G chipset coming in the fall

MediaTek, which has achieved significant success in the mobile world with its

Dimensity chipset series, is also working on the Helio G series. We will see a much more productive series after the summer months.

Helio G97 coming?

Helio G96 chipset, which is the flagship of the Helio G series, contained 2 Cortex-A76 and 6 Cortex-A55 cores. On the graphics side, there was the G57 MC2 unit. It lagged behind a bit on the efficiency side due to the 12nm process.

The new Helio G chipset, prepared by the company under the name Next-G, is 6nm transitioning to the process of making a significant leap forward in efficiency. It is not known whether the 6nm process will be used for all subsequent chipsets or an incremental strategy from the top to the bottom.

Allegedly, the Next-G chipset will have the same hardware as the Helio G96. In this regard, we can see a nomenclature as Helio G97. On the graphics side, the Helio G97 chipset, where optimization is possible, will be used for the first time in the Doogee brand smartphone. MediaTek is expected to make a promotion in the summer.
