Xiaomi has officially received a certification today ahead of the launch of its first 4K professional monitor. The monitor now has a color certification from PANTONE. It appeared on Weibo that the company will introduce its first 4K monitor. Compared to the previous teaser video, it seems that the monitor will be introduced on December 4, 2021. The Chinese tech company sells various monitor models. This is the first 4K monitor in its country.

The PANTONE color certification has also appeared on the official Mi Notebook Weibo account. The company has not disclosed any fine details about the product at this time. However, previous teasers have revealed some information about the product. The monitor, which is aimed at professionals, comes in 4K resolution with support for 99 percent Adobe RGB and DCI P3 color gamut.
In the design section, a striking subframe appeared in the promotional images. The sides also feature a slimmer profile. The frame itself appears to be made of plastic or metal. However, we cannot be absolutely sure about this at the moment. Previous teaser images did not clarify the monitor’s stand. The last one gives us a view of the base.
We see that it has a flat rectangular base with a wide body that keeps the monitor upright. It even has an oval cut on this stand. However, its exact functionality is currently unknown. As we mentioned above, the company has not yet disclosed its information clearly. It is expected that more information will be clarified in the coming days.
The possibility that the monitor will now incorporate Dolby Vision and HDR10+ compatibility is being discussed. In addition, some sources stated that they are confident that this monitor will have a refresh rate of 144Hz. The product will be released on December 4th.
