Turkey has been discussing possible hikes in fuel prices for a while. In this context, we talked about the statements of an authorized person in one of our content that we shared with you recently, and we explained that the prices could suddenly increase by around 3 liras. Now; We have entered the most critical phase regarding this issue. According to the information obtained by Sözcü, there will be a significant increase in fuel oil tonight.
According to the information obtained from the sources of the fuel sector, with the rise in the dollar rate and the rise in oil prices, there will be a new hike in gasoline and diesel fuel. This hike will be 40 cents for gasoline and 41 cents for diesel. Moreover, this increase will be reflected in the pump. Because the Eşel Mobile System is now inoperable.
How much will prices go up?
According to information obtained from industry sources, only 23 kuruş SCT margin remained for gasoline in the Esel Mobil System (EMS). 23 cents of the 40 cents hike, which will be reflected on the pump tonight, will be covered by SCT. In this case, the net increase in gasoline will be 17 cents. In the engine, the situation is even worse. Because the SCT margin that the state can afford has decreased to zero, the increase of 41 cents is expected to be reflected directly on the pump. By the way; Let us state that LPG shares the same fate as diesel fuel, and that even a one cent hike in LPG will directly reflect on the consumer.
The government has not said anything about what EMS will be for now. So the application in question is still in our lives. With the hike that will take place tonight, the SCT margin will be over for all of the gasoline, diesel and LPG trio. In this case, the state will have to make a new decision. If the application is abolished, all of the excise duty paid by the state will be added to the pump price, which will appear as an extra hike of around 3 TL. If the application continues, this time the state will continue on its way by taking 0 percent SCT from fuel. Eyes on the statements to be made on the subject. . .
