Having managed to collect positive comments from users with the Ryzen 5 5600X3D model, which comes with a large cache size, AMD is preparing to update its 3D V-Cache series with Ryzen 7000 processors. Today, reliable leak source Greymon55 shared new information about the expected series.
Might debut next year
According to reports, the Ryzen 7000 3D V-Cache series is expected to consist of a total of three models. These will be the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, 7900X3D and 7800X3D models, respectively. In addition, Greymon55, which responded to users on Twitter, answered the questions of the release date of the series, and that the new processors will be introduced at the Consumer Electronics Fair (CES 2023), which is planned to be held on January 5-8 next year.

AMD has yet to reveal any details regarding 3D V-Cache for Zen4 CPUs. However, if the same capacity as the previous series is used, we may encounter a combined L2 and L3 cache size of 144 MB. With the new 3D V-Cache processors, it seems that the number of AMD’s AM5 supported processors will increase to 7 models. While this figure is still significantly less than current AM4 options, the company plans to support both platforms by 2023.
