According to data from Whale Alert, 512.1 million XRP tokens moved in three separate transactions.
Two of the three transactions were made by anonymous wallets, while another transaction was made by Ripple.
Ripple moved 50 million XRP to the backup wallet RL18-VN for the purpose of transferring it to charities, exchanges and financial institutions.
The other two pieces of Ripple-linked tokens contained 226,439,980 and 235,725,280 XRP worth $63,244,540 and $170,121,600. The total equivalent of the shifted amount of XRP is roughly $370 million.
Whale Alert identifies senders and receivers as “anonymous” in these two XRP transfers, but it is XRP-focused. data platform Bithomp showed that the sender and receiver were the cryptocurrency exchange Uphold in both transfers.
