Following the competition with Microsoft Xbox Game Pass, Sony made the Last of Us 2 game free for PlayStation Now users.

Announcing the October games, Sony finally offered Last of Us 2, one of the most expensive games in PlayStation Now history, to its subscribers for free.
PS Now users will have free access to Fallout 76, Final Fantasy 8: Remastered, Amnesia: Collection, Desperados 3, Yet Another Zombie Defense HD and Victor Vran: Overkill Edition games, in addition to Last of Us 2.
Making the Game Pass service attractive for Xbox users by making its special games free, Microsoft succeeded in taking the competition to a different dimension.
The PlayStation Now service also includes games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, God of War and Horizon Zero Dawn.
Sony Game Services Content Senior Manager Adam Michel announced that they will offer games in 1080p to users with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps in the past months. Stating that the resolution will be automatically optimized according to the internet speed, Michel announced that this feature has been activated for PC and PS4 / PS5 users.
