Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman presented new insights into Apple’s product roadmap for the second half of 2023 and the first half of 2024. Apple is preparing to introduce two new models and an upgraded version of the Apple Watch Ultra as part of the Apple Watch Series 9. These watches were given the code names N207, N208 and N210, respectively.
The leaked roadmap also includes details on MacBook Pro models such as the 13-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 processor (codenamed J504) and the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Max processor (codenamed J514 and J516).
Gurman previously stated that the M3 chip will have similar CPU and GPU core counts to the M2 chip. This continuity in core counts indicates that Apple has focused on the M3 chip, optimizing power efficiency and overall system performance.
In addition, Apple is working on new iMacs (codenamed J433 and J434) with 24-inch displays, similar to existing models, and is aiming to develop an iMac with a display exceeding 30 inches.
iPad fans can look forward to refurbished iPad Pros (codenamed J717 and J720) equipped with OLED displays. Also, Apple is reportedly planning to release a new iPad Air (codenamed J507) to replace the current M1-based model, to appeal to users looking for a powerful yet portable tablet experience.
