Israeli authorities seized Hamas-linked crypto currency accounts

Using crypto for charitable purposes is not limited to sponsoring terrorists. Supporters of the Freedom Convoy in Canada and Ukraine’s anti-Russian opposition movement received millions of dollars in crypto donations in the first two months of 2022. At the request of the Capital Markets, Insurance and Savings Authority, cryptocurrency exchange Binance stopped its services and marketing to Israelis last month. The ban is expected to last as long as the authority reviews Binance’s business license in the country.
