While this attack was expected to be confirmed, the first confirmation came from İzmir Katip Çelebi University.
İzmir Katip Çelebi University, in the information message it sent to its students and staff, announced that student and staff information was seized as a result of the cyber attack. The university apologized to its students and staff for the situation and announced that necessary actions were taken.
