Axie Infinity, which includes the game studio Sky Mavis, came to the fore again after hacking attacks. In the security breach on the Ethereum-linked sidechain Ronin, it was revealed that Sky Mavis was carrying $3 million worth of crypto tokens.
Sky Mavis essentially froze its users’ assets before the news became public, during the hack of Ronin, who was forced to shut down the game system. He then moved around $3 million worth of crypto tokens to Binance.

In the hack that took place in March, Ronin’s security keys were seized and used by hackers to withdraw $540 million worth of cryptocurrencies. During the hack, Trung Nguyen, co-founder and CEO of Sky Mavis, the developer of the Axie Infinity blockchain game, transferred the company funds to the Binance exchange without disclosing the details of the hack attacks.
According to the news in Bloomberg, it was seen that 3 million dollars of crypto money was transferred to central exchanges such as Binance in all of the wallets monitored by an Axie user named Asobs. While the transaction details were confirmed by the company, Sky Mavis spokesperson Kalie Moore said this was necessary to prevent vendors from leading the token sale shortly before the hack became public.
Sky Mavis, which collected funds to make up for the shortcomings, announced that it started the refunds of the affected users on June 28.
