OnePlus 12 will break new ground in fingerprint reader
With the latest statement made by OnePlus president Li Jie, it was announced that the upcoming OnePlus 12 model will come with an ultra-thin under-screen fingerprint reader. Thus, it is stated that the phone will differentiate itself from its competitors in this field and offer a faster experience.
OnePlus 12 appeared in AnTuTu v10 tests. The smartphone achieved an impressive performance by receiving 2 million 333 thousand 33 points in total. To elaborate on this, the device achieved scores of 533 thousand 566 for CPU, 904 thousand 961 for GPU, 538,511 for MEM (Reading and writing speed) and 355 thousand 995 for UX.
This success of the smartphone is the highest AnTuTu score ever, according to Digital Chat Station, known for its leaks. Of course, we should point out that real-time results will appear after its introduction.
OnePlus 12 is expected to have a 6.82-inch BOE AMOLED display offering 3168 x 1440 pixels resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it is claimed that the 2K+ panel will offer 2160 Hz PWM dimming and 510 pixel density. It is also stated that the panel has a DisplayMate A+ rating in the 2K class.
With its recent post, OnePlus officially announced that the upcoming OnePlus 12 model will come with 24 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB UFS 4.0. Of course, other memory and storage options are expected to be available here. However, we should point out that no clear details have been shared about them yet.
Apart from this, OnePlus previously announced that the device will come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Qualcomm continues to cooperate with TSMC for its new processor. The processor, produced with 4 nm technology, has 1 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, 3 3.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, 2 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 and 2 2.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A520 cores. The company includes the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support in its new chip.
