The 81st Golden Globe Awards, one of the most prestigious awards in the world of cinema and television, will be held on January 7, 2024 in Los Angeles, USA. The candidates who will compete in the ceremony, which is also described as the “herald of the Oscars”, were announced today.
Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, also took over social media, becoming the film with the most nominations with 9 nominations. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer came in second with 8 nominations. Apart from these, many films and TV series, including The Killers of The Flower Moon, Poort Things, Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse, also managed to receive multiple nominations.
