In this context, the rear lighting, which covers the trunk lid from one end to the other, only changes in terms of the angle of the lighting. Also, the Peugeot logo is gone and replaced with the Peugeot lettering.
The 508 and 508 SW, renewed by Peugeot, also include significant changes in the interior design. So much so that the new model includes a 10-inch infotainment screen. Also, the gear knob is gone. Instead, the company installed a button-shaped gear shifting equipment. In the renewed 508, the octagonal steering wheel design and the 12-inch digital display screen have not been touched.
The Peugeot 508 has all the common driving assistance features such as start-stop and cruise control. Equipped with a high-resolution camera for rear view, the car also offers more innovative features for road sign recognition and lane tracking for driving assistance.
Peugeot has created a wide selection of engines for all consumers to find the 508 that suits them. In this context; consumers will be able to choose 1.2-liter 130 horsepower or 1.6-liter 218 horsepower gasoline engines. In addition, a 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine will be offered to consumers.
The 508 was not only equipped with internal combustion engines. Peugeot will also offer plug-in hybrid options for this luxury car. In this context; The 81 kW electric motor was paired with gasoline engines and two more options were created, producing 180 hp and 225 hp. There is also a hybrid engine option that produces 360 horsepower in total for high performance.
No exact release date has been announced for the 2023 model Peugeot 508. However, it is stated that the vehicle will be launched in the summer season. The price of the 508 and 508 SW will also be announced close to the release date.
