The SUV includes a 44 kilowatt electric motor in addition to the 1.6-liter engine with turbocharging. Thanks to its 1.5 kWh battery, a range of over 800 kilometers can be provided. The total power that the vehicle can produce is 226 horsepower.
The 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid offers drivers three different equipment options: LX, EX and SX-Prestige. While the LX has two different options, front or all-wheel drive, the EX and SX-Prestige take the Active AWD system as standard, which uses a center-locking differential and electro-hydraulic coupling to divide the power. It should be noted that a six-speed automatic transmission is standard in all of these options.
There are no serious differences in the cabin of the vehicle compared to the standard model introduced in the past months. A 12.3-inch touchscreen multimedia display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging and a Harman-Kardon premium audio system are standard.
Finally, eight safety features, including automatic emergency braking, lane tracking system, active high beam control system, blind spot warning system, driving assistant and 360-degree 3D camera, are offered to the drivers at no additional cost.
