Many human activities, done irresponsibly and selfishly, endanger the lives of other living things, causing some of them to disappear completely from the earth. We can show many activities such as global warming or uncontrolled hunting as the cause of this situation. Of course, when we classify these creatures according to their habitats, we can reach more obvious reasons.
The 2021 Ocean Photography competition also shows what kind of problems the animals living here are affected by. Of course, not all photos are problems. Some of the photos show how glamorous ocean life can be when there are no issues. Here are the recipients of the 2021 Ocean Photography Awards:
Great success from the Turkish name:
The photograph of the moray who lost her life by holding onto the fishing line and fishing line you see above was taken by Underwater photographer Kerim Sabuncuoğlu. Stating that human activity can cause such bad scenes, even without realizing it, the photographer aimed to raise awareness by sharing the photo of this eel, which is at the top of the food chain of its habitat, by suffocating. This photo won him the first prize in the conservation category of the competition.
