Feature where you can pay and watch 20 minutes of exclusive content: Series
The feature called Series, announced by TiKTok in a statement today, paves the way for content producers to produce paid content and sell them at any price. Each “Series” series can contain a total of 80 videos, and each video will be a maximum of 20 minutes long. So when you buy a Series, you’ll get access to (up to) 26.6 hours of exclusive video.
The introduced feature, which was leaked recently and became official today, is currently only available to some content producers. However, TikTok officials state that they want to offer Series to all content producers after improving the system with the feedback they receive. It is also among the information that all the revenues from the Series will be given directly to the content producers without interruption for a short time.
So what kind of content will be in the Series?
TikTok, in its statement, stated that Series was developed to provide “high quality, creative and longer content” to users who watch TikTok, while it is currently unknown whether the Series section will contain content that does not comply with the general TikTok rules.
However, according to some TikTok creators, Series paves the way for creators with a large audience on TikTok to offer exclusive videos, vlogs and videos with “better TikTok shooting suggestions” on Series instead of Youtube videos.
While it has not yet been announced when the feature will be available to all content producers, TikTok users were very happy with the arrival of this feature.
