Apple held its WWDC Conference event last week. Along with many new Apple operating system versions, iOS 17 was also introduced at the event. In the meantime, iOS 17 Beta was presented to users. However, it looks like Apple will get another version before releasing the full version of iOS 17. Here are the details about the expected iOS 16.5.1 …
As we speak 17, Apple is preparing iOS 16.5.1!
Versions like iOS 16.5.1, which are minor updates, often focus on bug fixes, stability improvements, and security patches rather than new features. Apple fixed the issue of Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter not working on iOS 16.5 in iOS 16.6 beta. Therefore, it is likely that a similar fix will be available in iOS 16.5.1.
Announced at WWDC last week, the first beta of iOS 17 will be publicly released later this year for iPhone XS and newer models. This update will include new features such as the ability to switch the iPhone to Standby while charging in landscape position, interactive Home Screen widgets, improved auto-correction, the Journal app, and more. For the first time in Apple history, developer betas are available for $99 per year without an Apple Developer program membership.
Apple announced earlier this month that 81% of all active iPhones are running iOS 16. However, this percentage has likely decreased after the iOS 17 beta. It is estimated that Apple will release the full iOS 17 in September, around the time the iPhone 15 models are released.
Let’s take a closer look at the innovations that will come with the new 17 version!
Redesigned call screen and contacts design: iOS 17 brings an update that brings customization features to the call and contacts screen. The phone app allows users to express themselves with customizable profile cards called Person Posters. Users can customize appearance, typography, font colors, and features such as photos or Memoji. People Posters are also compatible with third-party search apps.
