In this context; It has been decided to apply a 15 percent withholding tax from content producers whose YouTube income is below 650 thousand TL.

The same will be true for app developers.

Withholding tax, which will be applied to those who make money on social media, will also apply to application developers. Thus, citizens who earn money through an application they have developed will have to pay 15 percent of their earnings as taxes.

Tomorrow, the Parliamentary Plan and Budget Committee will also meet. This meeting is also very important. Because at the meeting, which will be attended by the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey Şahap Kavcıoğlu, financial studies will be announced.
