Yitian 710 processor developed by Alibaba has 128 ARM cores. Produced in the 5nm process, the processor contains 60 billion transistors per die. Based on the ARM v9 architecture that we see in the new generation flagships, the processor goes up to 3.2GHz, offers DDR5 support and includes 96 PCIe 5.0 lanes.

The processor to be used in the Flexible Information Services department will bring virtualization sessions to life. There are 4 virtual cores in these sessions and they are connected to a single physical core. The session offers 16GB memory and 3Gbit/s network bandwidth.

Alibaba states that the new processor has doubled sessions running on x86 processors in terms of throughput. Alibaba, one of the most important cloud providers, plans to include more ARM processors in the new period. The firm also uses MIPS and RISC-V architectures.
