Over the past year, a lot of news has surfaced regarding companies transferring Bitcoin to their treasury. But aside from BTC, the leading altcoin, Ethereum (ETH), was popular with institutions, with many companies holding it in their reserves.

Companies’ altcoin investment has grown: 12 companies hold ETH!

As we have also reported as Kriptokoin.com, funds (ETF), countries, public companies and private companies hold 1,559,047 Bitcoin (BTC) worth approximately $66 billion. While Bitcoin is held by these entities, Ethereum (ETH) is also held by funds and companies that believe in the future of crypto. For example, on Thursday, fund manager Three Arrows Capital reportedly purchased 31,345 Ethereums. On the same day, Su Zhu, co-founder of Three Arrows Capital, said that he continues to be bullish on crypto investments.

According to the listing on Cryptotreasuries.org, there are 212,875 ETH held in 12 different companies. The website shows data tied to 12 different funds and companies that own Ethereum. The data says it currently holds 212,875 ETH, close to $700 million in assets. Galaxy Digital is the biggest investor on this list, as Cryptotreasuries.org states that the firms are holding 98,892 ETH at the time of writing. In other words, the company is responsible for 212,875 ETH among 12 companies, or 46.45 percent.

Which other companies?

The second largest investor on the list is Ether Capital Corporation with 43,512 ETH. Ether Capital Corporation’s stash accounts for 20.44 percent of the total recorded on cryptotreasuries.org. This is followed by Coinbase Global (31,787 ETH), Meitu (15,000 ETH), and Hive Blockchain (13,331 ETH). There is also another list of Ethereum treasures hosted on ettreasuries.pory.app with a number of different owners listed.

For example, the site notes several companies such as M31 Capital, Gerber Kawasaki Investment Management, Arca Labs, Heat Capital and FD7 Ventures with “undisclosed” Ethereum amounts. This particular list of ETH treasures is out of date and some sources are dubious compared to the hosted list on the site. However, the listing hosted at ettreasuries.pory.app mentions funds like Three Arrows Capital and Grayscale Ethereum Trust, both holding tens of thousands of ETH.
