Standard iPad production moves to Vietnam
Mark Gurman, known for his sources close to Apple, stated that the iPad Pro family will be updated in the first half of next year. A new report suggests some information about the company’s standard iPad model. According to information from Nikkei Asia, Apple is in talks with Chinese company BYD to move its production resources to Vietnam. It is also among the information that the 11th generation iPad will be produced in this production center moved to Vietnam.
If the claims are true, Apple will conduct engineering tests of the 11th generation iPad in February 2024, and after these tests, the device will move towards production. The device is expected to be introduced in the second half of next year. The 2024 model iPad will probably share the same chassis with the 10th generation iPad, but the A14 chip on the device is expected to be updated with the A16 Bionic.
