Unicode Consortium, which is the reference point for the emojis we use in messaging applications, social media or in every field you can think of, officially published “Emoji 15.1” and shared 118 new emoji suggestions that we can see on our phones and applications as of next year.
First of all, let us point out that the list shared by the Unicode Consortium is a suggestion, and it is at the discretion of the companies to add all or some of the new emojis to applications or platforms. So, there is a possibility that you may never see some of these emojis in the applications you use.
The new emojis announced with Emoji 15.1 are as follows:
*The first two lines show new emojis, lines 3-5 show new variations of existing emojis.
Not to discourage you, but only 6 of the 118 emojis in question offer a completely new emoji. The remaining 112 emojis bring new variations to existing emojis; The child walking to the right, the child running to the right, the child running to the left, etc. However, it is pleasing that some emojis, such as the phoenix and the mushroom, have been introduced, which we wondered why they were not available until now.
