The Chinese manufacturer has announced its new gaming monitor along with the Red Magic 7S smartphone series. The 27 inch mini LED monitor is a monitor with nice features such as HDR support for PC games.
1000 nits brightness
The product, which has DisplayHDR 1000 certification, has 10-bit image processing and Delta-E, 1 below what the human eye can detect, for color accuracy, according to NoteBookCheck.
In addition, the monitor offers 178-degree viewing angle and supports mm-wave wireless screen mirroring. It supports TÜV Rheinland certified blue light filter as well as AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and ultra-high frequency PWM dimming.
The Red Magic gaming monitor will be sold in two models, a 4K version that supports wireless screen mirroring, and a 2K version that offers 240Hz refresh rate and 400 nits maximum brightness. However, the 2K model does not have mini LED backlighting.
Gaming monitors with higher refresh rate are becoming more and more popular in the market. After 120 Hz, 144 Hz, brands are experimenting with refresh rates up to 240 Hz, while matching the screens with other remarkable features such as 4K resolution, OLED panel, curved design, large size.
on sale in september
RedMagic said that the gaming monitor will go on sale in September, but did not share information on whether the monitor will be sold in markets outside of China and on price.
