10 more KIRAÇ New Generation Criminal Investigation Vehicles were delivered to EGM

President of Presidency Defense Industry (SSB) İsmail Demir stated that they have delivered 10 more KIRAÇ New Generation Criminal Investigation Vehicles to the General Directorate of Security (EGM).

İsmail Demir, in his statement, said, “We are continuing the deliveries of the KIRAÇ New Generation Criminal Investigation Vehicle, which we produced so that the EGM can conduct crime scene investigations more effectively. In the video that Demir shared, information about the features of the vehicle, which was originally produced by Katmerciler, was conveyed. Accordingly, KIRAÇ, which has a wide area lighting kit, is stated to be equipped with superior features than the crime scene investigation tools produced before. In addition, there are armored and unarmored versions of KIRAÇ.

The vehicle, which has the ability to climb a slope of 30 percent at various revolution speeds, draws attention with its automatic fingerprint system. KIRAÇ, which can display superior mobility in all weather and road conditions with its fully independent suspension system and 4×4 system with automatic transmission, also dominates the region with its 360-degree camera system. The vehicle contains a large number of technological equipment that facilitates criminal investigations.

KIRAÇ New Generation Criminal Investigation Tool; It has a design that can be configured as an armored personnel carrier, command control vehicle and internal security vehicle. Depending on the design, it has a carrying capacity of up to 27+1+1 personnel. The extra load capacity of the Katmerciler 4×4 KIRAÇ vehicle platform also enables the use of different levels of ballistic protection and versatile equipment for the vehicle.
