According to the report published by DappRadar, blockchain and metaverse projects received $1.3 billion investment during the third quarter.
DappRadar’s report, which tracks blockchain activity across 50 networks, states that more investments were made in the second quarter than last year combined. Compared to the second quarter, there was a 48 percent decrease.
Blockchain game projects raised $156 million through investments and partnerships in September 2022 alone. Projects focused on building Web3 metaverse infrastructure such as Inworld AI or Hadean accounted for more than 36 percent of investments in the observed quarter.
With the continued bullish outlook of investors in the blockchain gaming industry all year long; It is estimated that the total investment amount for 2022 will be 8.8 percent lower and approximately 9.25 billion dollars.
