Recently, EA Games has been coming across with the development of systems that will help players who do not play the game according to the book from the system and obtaining patents for these systems.
We are here again with the news of such an EA Games patent. This time, EA Games has patented a system that will ban players who cooperate with their enemies even though they should not be in online games.
Those who cooperate with competitors in online games will be banned
As you know, cooperating with an opponent in online games is a violation of the rules that creates many disadvantages for other players, and it is very difficult to detect if not reported by the players.
The new system, patented by EA Games, will analyze the in-game and social relations of the players, their game history and what they do in the game, pass it through its algorithm and instantly detect a cooperation that violates the rules. Therefore, there will be no need for reporting.
Penalties for cooperating with opponents will include restriction or removal of in-game achievements, expulsion, suspension or even ban. It is not yet certain whether the system will be used or not. But if the system enters our lives, it will first be found in EA’s own FPS games.
